My Stuff

I have organized my stuff to keep things in order. I like to work on a bunch of Internet of Things (IoT) related projects. There are so many use cases around us that could be an IoT project. If it can be sensed or acted on then it makes a good IoT project. Yet so many things to learn, do, build and so little time.

The Things

There are a number of things that I am interested in to use for the various projects - sensors, MCUs are really facinating.

The Jig

There are so many jigs that I have built on. All of them have taught me a lot through the years.

Wachamacallit

Not sure what to call it it but I cannot spend too much time thinking of what it is. It just happens ...

Working Stuff

Stuff that really works! This is what really excites me and keeps me ticking.

MatLab

First thing is to set up a good lab. I was fortunate enough to convert my game room (not the garage) into my lab.

Broken Things

I had a great idea but I was not ready or the technology was not ready to finish it up. Not giving up on them.. Well ... Things do break. Many reasons that contribute to it. Some are expensive lessons and some are (burn - from solder iron) scars.

About Me

I am an Enterprise Architect by trade, working with solutions, sales and delivery to build leading edge solutions for clients. I has deep working knowledge of architectures, technologies across various stacks and platforms. I am leading the Product and Platform Modernization initiative by building service offerings that help in transforming companies in this Digital Economy. I am engaged in working with several clients on Microservices ecosystems, Mobility architectures and several leading edge technology stacks. I lead a group of technology experts where I work, who engage with our internal teams and its clients in building solutions.

I have over 20 years’ experience in product and services development in various industries working with Fortune 500 clients worldwide. I have led several enterprise initiatives, as Chief Architect, for clients in leading edge technologies though thought leadership and innovation. Additionally, I have led techno-domain consulting division in prior companies I have worked at. I was the CTO of a startup developing solutions for social media marketing and monitoring in Retail and Hospitality. In the past company I worked at, I also led innovation technology center where I designed and built a showcase lab.

I work on several IoT projects, where I has showcased several of them at different forums. I am a graduate of Pune University where I received my engineering degree in Computer Engineering.

The Team

This is a one man show for now. I have a couple of family members, friends who have, willingly or unwillingly been part of my journey. There is a great deal of support as I navigate through this as I find my million(s) dollar idea.

Blog Posts

Here are a few of my ramblings on various areas around the Internet of Things. Many of my posts are on the blog - Wednesday Morning 4 am.

Loss Prevention in Retail/Warehouse store by applying Swarm Intelligence

February 4, 2016 in Retail

One of the problems that exist in Retail is theft and intentional damage of merchandise. A number of retailers have several loss-prevention solutions that are in place today, but the theft still occurs as shoplifters continue to find new ways and means to steal a product or even a part of a product.

‘Things’ that would only means ‘wellness’ for you.

February 4, 2016 in Healthcare

One of the many big challenges in healthcare is ensuring that patients are taking care of themselves by taking their medication on time, doing what the doctor advised and keeping a healthy lifestyle. There are often times when patients go off their medications because they ran out or worse they decided it was not necessary as they were feeling better.

Unleashing the power of data through IoT

June 26, 2014 in Photography

The Internet of Things (IoT) delivered its promise of data. Today, millions of devices are sending out data that is simply spell binding. The data collected from these devices are already helping make informed decisions to organizations who are exploiting them.
